Sailing Instructions

Please join Y-Flyer Fleet #1 for a weekend of fun and games, and racing!  Step your mast, sit back, and relax with your favorite fleet hosting the 70th annual Gilbert Beers Memorial Regatta.

Online registrations and Meal reservations are closed;  in-person registration is available at the event (meals not guaranteed).

SCHEDULE:

Friday, October 11 

“It’s all Fun and Games…” Golf tournament: anyone interested in golf on Friday call Carlin Hodges 

6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Registration and complimentary chili dinner.

Saturday, October 12 

7:30—9:00 a.m. Continental breakfast at the Clubhouse.        

7:30—9:30 a.m. Registration at the Clubhouse. 

8:45 a.m. Junior regatta competitor’s meeting at clubhouse patio.

9:30 a.m. Warning signal, start of first Junior race.

11:30 a.m. Competitor’s meeting at viewing pavilion. Lunch to follow at the clubhouse.

1:25 p.m. Warning signal for first race of the day.

6:30 p.m. Hors d’oeuvres at the Clubhouse.  Kids Meal served during adult cocktails.

7:15 p.m. Dinner. Game night to follow.

Sunday, October 13

7:30-8:30 a.m. breakfast. 

9:25 a.m. Warning signal for first race of the day. No race will be started after 12:00 p.m.

Lunch and awards will follow completion of racing.

 Regatta T-Shirts -  pre-order only.  Cotton T-shirts in various sizes, unisex,  $25 Long Sleeve , $21 Short Sleeve.  Order with your registration by October 1st.
