Registration
Registration is open to all wife-husband teams. Skippers must be current members of the Flying Scot Sailing Association. You can join on-line at: www.fssa.com/join-renew-donate
If you are borrowing a boat or chartering a club boat, you should join the class as an Affiliate Member. Also, you must send in the Boat Borrowing form to the class secretary (email to: info@fssa.com) at least one month in advance of the regatta (before Aug. 28). The form is available at: www.fssa.com/content/chartering-or-borrowing-form
The regatta fee is $175 if registered on or before September 14, and $205 if registered after September 14.
All meals are included in the registration fee for both the skipper and crew. Additional meals can be purchased when registering. Please note that meals for late registrants may be subject to availability.
Fees can be paid prior to the regatta via Zelle, Venmo or by check. Fees can be paid at the time of the regatta via Zelle, Venmo, check, or cash.

Where to Stay
AYC has several tent campsites with water, electricity, and a pavilion nearby. Hot showers are available in the clubhouse. There are 2 RV spots available with 30-amp service. All campsites and RV sites are first come-first served.
Several hotels are nearby, all in proximity to each other. Flying Scot Fleet #211 has secured discounted accommodations at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Acworth - Kennesaw Northwest, 200 Northpoint Way, Acworth, GA 30102. Click here for more information.

Safety Requirements for Participating Boats
The FS Class requires that each boat has the following safety features:
1. Bow flotation (float bag, or similar)
2. Transom port (nominal 4-inch diameter)
3. Ground tackle (anchor w/ 100 ft. of line)
4. Safety line attached to transom mooring rings
5. Paddle, bucket, sound making device (whistle), throwable life preserver
