Open to all boats of the Thistle, Y-Flyer, Snipe, Flying Scott, Laser and Sunfish Classes.

Additionally, participation will be open to any centerboard dinghy class with an LOA (length overall) less than or equal to 20' that can register three or more participating boats (excluding late participation). See NOR for contact information of the Regatta Chair.

There are lots of opportunities for you to participate, both sailing and on shore, at this awesome event!

Schedule of Events


Friday April 25

All Day: Club will be open to park boats and set up camp

6:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Check-in, and late registration.  Welcome aboard dinner -- Simple, but yummy nachos.  No charge, but please let us know if you are coming.

All Fleets are encouraged to check in Friday evening.

Saturday April 26

8:30 AM - 9:30 AM: (Last minute) check-in and late registration

11:00 AM: Competitors meeting at the clubhouse patio

11:30 AM: Lunch - Sauce' em Up Chicken Strips with sides and dessert ($10/person)

12:30 PM: Warning Signal 1st start of 1st race, Races 2 thru 3 to follow, time permitting

End of the day races: Refreshments at the Viewing Pavilion

7:00 PM: Dinner - Slow-cooked Beef or Lemon Chicken, sides and dessert ($20/person), Kid's Chicken Strip dinner ($8/child)

DJ to follow dinner

Sunday April 27

7:45 - 8:30 AM: Breakfast - Biscuits and Gravy, Sausage and light breakfast fare ($5/person)

9:25 AM: Warning Signal 1st start of the day, remaining races to follow, time permitting

11:45 AM or following the last race: Lunch - Hamburger Bar, Sides and Dessert ($10/person)  and Awards

12:25 PM: No warning signal will be made after this time

Where to Stay

AYC has several tent campsites with water, electricity, and a pavilion nearby. Hot showers are available in the clubhouse. There are 2 RV spots available with 30-amp service. All campsites and RV sites are first come-first served.

Several hotels are nearby, all in proximity to each other.

Guest pets are not allowed on AYC grounds
