Participation in the AYC Open Regatta is open to all boats of the Thistle, Y-Flyer, Snipe, Flying Scot, Laser, and Sunfish classes. Additionally, participation will be open to any centerboard dinghy class with an LOA less than or equal to 20’ that can register three or more participating boats (excluding late registration). Fleet officers or class representatives wishing to register an additional class should contact the Regatta Chair for more information (see NOR).

This regatta will also serve as the Flying Scot Dixie Lakes District Championship. All Flying Scots will sail as one fleet regardless of district membership.

All Day: Club will be open to park boats and set up camp

7:00pm-9:00pm: Check-in, late registration, and dessert (all Fleets are encouraged to check-in Friday evening)

Where to Stay

Several hotels are nearby, all in proximity to each other.  Hotel Listings

AYC has several tent campsites with water, electricity, and a pavilion nearby. Hot showers are available in the clubhouse. There are 2 RV spots available with 30-amp service. All campsites and RV sites are first come-first served.

The Atlanta Yacht Club prohibits firearms and motorcycles on club premises. Guests may not bring pets. It is the responsibility of AYC members and guests to take appropriate measure to safeguard their personal property while on club premises.
