Rules:
The Regatta will be governed by rules as defined in the The Racing Rules of Sailing and the regatta Sailing Instructions. Sailing Instructions will be available at registration
Saturday, November 14
9:30 – 10:30- Registration opens at Club House
11:00- Competitors Meeting at the Point
11:57- Warning signal- First Race
Lunch (on your own, not provided)
Afternoon races to follow... we will try for 6
Dinner, Awards and Bonfire after racing
Rigging:
All Laser rigs are allowed. Five (5) entires of the same rig constitute a fleet. Class legal sails are not required.
Safety:
All Sailors will be required to wear Coast Guard Approved Life Jackets while on the water. Wet/dry suits are strongly recommended due to potential cold temperatures in November on Lake Allatoona.
Entry Fee:
$25.00 for adults, $16.00 per Junior (18 and under), dinner is included in the registration.
Extra adult meal is $10.00, extra junior meal is $6.00.

Location:
Atlanta Yacht Club, 7120 Yacht Club Dr. , Acworth , GA 30102. The AYC is 17 miles north of Atlanta. Take Exit 277 (Ga HWY 92) off I-75. Go east on Hwy 92 and turn left onto Hunt Rd. Go .2 miles, through Stop sign and immediately bear right through hairpin turn; the road changes to Kellogg Creek Rd. Go 1 mile and turn left onto Yacht Club Drive. Look for entrance to AYC on the right after one mile.
Club Gate:
Gate will be open Friday afternoon. Pull up close to gate to trigger opening
Camping:
Camping and hot showers are available free at AYC.

Hotels are just 5 minutes away at I-75 and HWY 92

The Atlanta Yacht Club asks that all participants follow current recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the Georgia Department of Public Health, and US Sailing. While at the club, maintain social distancing guidelines and avoid large gatherings of people in any given location. It is recommended a mask or cloth face covering be worn when a six-foot distance cannot be maintained.
