11:15 am Gather Gun: meet at the AYC Clubhouse, grab a name-tag, pick up your welcome packet, meet some of our members and watch some sailing videos.
12:00 pm Lunch - no cost for our guest, $5 for members (pay at the door). Commodore Kirk will welcome you to our club and several of our members will share their experiences followed by an Q&A.
12:30 pm Boats, Tours & Racing. Check out the different kinds of boats we sail at AYC. Go for a sail with one of our club members (life jackets will be provided) or a cruise on a motorboat. Take a tour of the club with stops highlighting club facilities, Adult Learn to Sail training, junior programs, club-owned boats and beach/swimming area. Enjoy the facilities
3:30 - 4:30 pm Reconvene at the Viewing Pavilion to ask questions and close the day
Since 1950 Atlanta Yacht Club has been providing training and educational programs to the Atlanta sailing community. AYC activities include One Design racing, Sailing Rallies, Regattas, Race Management Training, Junior Sailing Camp, boating safety and many other activities to support and promote the awesome sport of sailing.
