Fleet 330 Team,
Last Saturday February 16 the Snipe fleet attended the delicious corned beef and cabbage dinner hosted by the motorboat fleet. Afterwards, we turned the chairs into a circle and went over the status updates.
Earlier that day, Terry DeGan, Mike, and Don led the Trailer Ship Shape Shop with great success. Trailers were gathered at the beach parking spot and all kinds of tools were brought out. Like a pit stop pro, Mike went from wheel to wheel of every trailer, taking them apart, injecting grease, and replacing bearings. By the end of the shop, wheels were spinning and lights were lighting. The Ship ShapeShop team saved the fleet from some unhappy adventures on the highway!
Meanwhile, the Ship Wright team is making progress on the Brazilian hull. Means has the boat in his barn and we can look forward to a beautiful fleet boat this summer that will belong to all of us!
The Intermediate Learn to Sail is getting some movement, as Don is negotiating how the course will be treated by the club.
Terry Bihary has been motivating sailors to attend the State Championship in Valdosta for March 8-10 and so far those who are planning to go are Tom, Don, Joy and Andy, Terry DeGan and son, Greg and son, Rita, Edward and kids, Kathy, Amy, and perhaps more!!! If you are feeling the excitement, please tell Terry Bihary.
Some requests were made for new logos, so Suny will be working on them. Amy has found a manufacturer and spirit wear will be available soon.
Great to see Kitza back with the team!!
