Sunday Class Schedule: June 3, 10, 17, & 24 July 1, 8, 15, & 22
Register: Registration will open to the public in early April.
Description: “Learn to SAIL” is for the Opti beginner sailor. You will learn the parts of your boat, how to rig and launch your boat, basic sailing, sailing terms and a lot of fun mixed in each week! There will be a combination of shore sessions, fun, and on the water sailing. This is a non-competitive environment. We just want to get your kids hooked on sailing! (Please read Prerequisites carefully)
Prerequisites: Must be 6 years old before January 1, 2018. Must be able to swim without a life jacket and be comfortable in and around LAKE water. A swimming and treading water test will be performed on the first day of class. If the student does not pass the test, they will not be allowed to participate.
Receipt of payment and liability waiver form is required to be officially registered for class. Mail checks, made out to AYC and signed liability form to:
