Atlanta Yacht Club is hosting the 2018 US Sailing Championship of Champions (C of C) regatta October 18 -21. The C of C is US Sailings most prestigious event where 20 of the top National and North American class champions will compete in a 20-race round-robin competition. This year’s event will be sailed in Y-Flyers.

AYC invites you to be a part of this great event, so come on out and root for our own home club competitors that include Tarasa Davis, Bryce Dryden and Lucy Spearman. It’s free to be a spectator, so pack a lunch and come out to the viewing pavilion or hop a ride on a spectator boat for an opportunity to watch the best-of-the-best in your own backyard.

AYC club members and their guests are also invited to attend the Welcome Aboard Party beginning at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, October 18 to meet, rub elbows and swap stories with the competitors.

Fleet # 1 cordially invites you to also attend the Saturday night dinner banquet and hear keynote speaker Mike Ingham discuss his experiences coaching the U.S. Paralympic team as well as racing tips for faster sailing. Mike will also field questions from the audience. The attire for this event is business casual.

US Sailing, AYC, Y-Flyer Fleet #1 and all our sponsors would like to invite you to attend the Sunday lunch and awards ceremony that will feature Lavon’s famous upgraded nacho bar to begin following the completion of competition.

To attend any or all meal events, reservations are required and must be made no later than 10 p.m. Tuesday, October 16.

Keynote Speaker

Mike Ingham, Racing Editor for Sailing World Magazine
